Montreal’s history as you’ve never seen it before! Yours truly, Montreal offers a truly immersive experience where the projection puts you right in the heart of the action and history of Montreal. Never has the city’s history been so alive and dynamic. Thanks to the latest technologies, the spectator relives great moments that shaped the city, spurring life through the years, at the place of foundation of Montreal.

The Pointe-à-Callières museum mandated Moment Factory partnering with GSMprjct and Sid Lee to renew its multimedia show that tells the story of Montreal. On top of an 18 minute show that’ll last 10 years, the project included a remodelling of the room to host events, a website and the production of a book on the show.

Projected onto screens spanning 270 degrees and onto the ruins – authentic witnesses to the city’s history – the show’s scenography optimizes the space to integrate image, light and sound to the venue’s architecture.

By using a diversified artistic approach, the iconographies and documents included in the show were treated to a graphic direction which focuses on realism and respects the authenticity of the historical period.
