In the centre of the scene, you’re wrapped in a halo of light and sound. Submerged in a dreamlike universe, enigmatic figures evolve around you in dramatic and subtle ways. Illusory. Fantastic. Out of this world, it’s an experience existing at the very edge of imagination.

Moment Factory was invited by Cirque du Soleil to help create a bar/lounge experience and immersive set design to support their performances onboard two Celebrity Cruise Line ships. Using multiple projection techniques, six virtual worlds were created for the characters imagined and realized by Cirque du Soleil.

Moment Factory overcame the low ceilings and physical restraints of the ship’s space by using creative design and pushing the limits of technology. Two fog walls concealed entrances by the performers, who wore interactive garments. 16 projectors, multilayered semi-transparent screens and synchronized projections were used to create 3D illusions.
