Onstage, a man is transformed into a bull. His metamorphosis is captured and projected onto the massive screens behind and around the stage. The passion of flamenco is magnified. The line between fantasy and reality blurs. Performer and video melt into each other onstage. Inside, party-goers are immersed within the intensity of imagery and music.
For Cirque du Soleil’s annual party to celebrate the F1, Moment Factory created an immersive environment where the organic and technological seamlessly fuse. Using projections and lighting, Moment Factory created an imaginary world that transformed architecture, people and even what we believe possible.
The indoor environment was immersive and interactive. Moment Factory created a giant, six petal metal flower to project onto under DJ Alain Vinet's booth. Outdoors, the Cirque's building served as the screen, extending the stage. More than a backdrop or just scenery, performers used the interactive screen as part of their performance, including a vertical dance high above the stage where dancers interacted directly with the screen.
