Where: Montreal and Toronto, Canada
For: Browns
Onstage, fashion puts its best foot forward in Browns' beautiful shoes. At an unconventional location, pop culture, fashion and philanthropy merge into a wild spectacle. Dancers interact and move in rhythm with stylish and stylized video images of themselves. Larger than life, the screens define the stage. Glamour defines the rest.
Moment Factory was invited by leading Canadian shoe retailer Browns to create the visual content for a 40 minute show for their annual fundraiser. Working with a choreographer and stylist, Moment Factory put Browns' new collection of shoes centre stage in eight entertaining scenarios that supported brand identity and captured the art of fashion.
Moment Factory used nine screens of varying dimensions mounted on two panels to create the illusion of interactivity between the images on each screen. The dancers were filmed and the video images were designed to be an integral part of the choreography, at times taking the lead with the live dancers following.
