Amidst displays of retired jerseys and sticks, the Habs’ history comes alive. Fans come face to face with their heroes on the life-size interactive video wall, pulling up videos, bios and stats about the team’s history and legends using the point and play action.

Moment Factory was invited to create an installation that shakes the dust off the Canadiens’ history. The challenge was to use the latest technology to engage young hockey fans, while remaining accessible to older less tech savvy fans.

Moment Factory developed software that allows multiple visitors to intuitively interact with the video wall without touching it. Sensors installed overhead detect movement as visitors point to items on one of the three segments of the 20’ video wall. The interface’s virtual nature makes this permanent installation exceptionally robust.
