Where: Montreal
For: Quartier des Spectacles Partnership
A giant snowflake made of dots of light playfully follows a passerby along the street. Responding to your movements, the installation catches your eye and frees your imagination. Intrigued, you walk through the door. Lights flash and cultural illumination is achieved.
La Vitrine invited Moment Factory to create an interactive system with renewable content to act as a window onto culture for the general public. The installation serves as signage, branding and novel form of urban entertainment that entices passersby to discover Montreal culture.
Moment Factory used proprietary movement-tracking devices to create this permanent interactive installation. Interactive games designed by Moment Factory and cultural information are featured on the 250 square foot LED screen composed of 35 000 low resolution light bulbs.
